The Cincinnati Reds scored three runs in the eighth inning to insure a 6-2 win over the Pirates on Tuesday night.
Andrew McCutchen and Josh Harrison each had two hits for the Pirates, who lost their second in a row to the Reds.
Trevor Williams gave up the three runs, but Juan Nicasio picked up his first loss of the season.
