The Toronto Maple Leafs scored three goals in the third period to defeat the Penguins, 5-3, Saturday night in Toronto.
The teams were tied at 2-2 after two periods and the Pens took a 3-2 lead on a goal by Jake Guentzel. But Toronto rallied on goals by Kasperi Kapanen, Connor Brown and Auston Matthews to halt Pittsburgh’s four-game winning streak.
The Penguins close out the regular season Sunday as they visit the New York Rangers at 7 pm.
