A man charged in connection with a fatal motorcycle accident last July entered guilty pleas in Indiana County Court yesterday.
39-year-old David Domino of Indiana pleaded guilty to a charge of Homicide by Vehicle and to DUI in connection with the motorcycle accident on the afternoon of July 23rd of last year that killed Denise Dando, who was a passenger on his motorcycle. The other charges he faced, including accidents involving death or injury, improper license, and several summary traffic charges, will not be prosecuted.
The crash happened along McIntyre road near Challenger Raceway, where Domino was taking part in a memorial ride in honor of Raymond and Shannon Stumpf. State Police at the time reported that Domino lost control of his motorcycle in the southbound lane and hit a tree just off the road. Dando died from her injuries at Forbes hospital in Monroeville.
Domino is scheduled to be sentenced on June 26th, and he will face a maximum sentence of up to 7 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
