Two teams improved to 2-0 in Heritage Conference action Monday.
Blairsville defeated Penns Manor, 11-0, in five innings. Adam Ratkus pitched 3 1/3 innings for Blairsville and Brian Knupp finished up with 1 2/3.
Dakota Sunday and Kyle McConnell each had two hits for Blairsville.
Homer-Center is also 2-0 after defeating Ligonier Valley, 6-3.
The Wildcats jumped out to a three-run lead in the first inning.
Nate Davis was the winning pitcher and Jayke Saiani picked up the save. They held the Rams to three hits.
Corey Cavalier led Homer-Center with two hits and two RBIs.
