Grace Elizabeth (Howard) Weinell, 94, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Keeper of the Flame, Blairsville, PA.
The daughter of George S. and Fannie W. (Kelly) Howard, she was born December 29, 1922 in Blacklick Twp., PA.
Mrs. Weinell graduated from Blairsville High School in 1940.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville, Sewing Club and a life member of the former Blairsville Grange.
Surviving are three children, a son, Larry L. Weinell (Jane) of Blairsville; two daughters, Sandra G. Ingmire (Charles) of Blairsville and Ronda J. Weinell of New Alexandria; six grandchildren, Brian Weinell, Michael Weinell, Mark Weinell, Erik Ingmire, Pastor Robert T. Ingmire and Ryan Gallagher; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Savage of Blairsville and Twila Dunlap (Alex) of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl J. Weinell in 2003; three brothers, Wilbur, Leroy and Frank Howard and three sisters, Hazel Reed, Ethel Davison and Velma Howard.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert T. Ingmire officiating.
Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
