State Representative Dave Reed and Senator Don White have announced state funding for water line extensions in Indiana County.
$370,000 from the Department of Community and Economic Development’s small water and sewer grant program will be used to install 6,500 feet of water line along Cheese Run Road and 1,300 feet of water line along Darlene Drive. Cheese Run Road is located off Route 422 in Armstrong Township. Darlene Drive is off Tunnelton Road in Conemaugh Township.
The total project cost is $438,072.
