The Philadelphia Phillies jumped on Pirates starter Josh Lindblom for five runs in the first inning and went on to beat the Bucs, 6-3, Sunday afternoon in Grapefruit League action.
Lindblom suffered his first loss in four decisions this spring.
Austin Meadows led the Pirates with two hits. Jose Osuna drove in two runs.
The Pirates (18-9) play host to the Minnesota Twins tonight. Game time is 6 pm on AM 1160 WCCS and 101.1 FM.
