Phil Gosselin and Gift Ngoepe led the Pirates with two hits, Chris Stewart drove in a run and the Pirates took advantage of three Tampa Bay errors in a 4-0 Grapefruit League win at LECOM Park on Friday afternoon.
Right-hander Trevor Williams held the Rays scoreless for five innings, allowing three hits while striking out four. The Pirates bullpen did the rest, giving up one hit over four innings.
