GRANT TOWNSHIP
A Rochester Mills man was injured Monday afternoon in a crash on Nashville Road in Grant Township. State police say 67-year-old David Hamilton lost control of his heavy truck on a right-hand curve, leaving the roadway and striking a culvert.
Police say Hamilton was not wearing his seatbelt and hit his head on the windshield. He suffered lacerations to his head and a neck injury and was taken to the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
WEST MAHONING TOWNSHIP
An unknown driver hit a natural gas pipe located off a dirt road in West Mahoning Township last Friday night. Police say the vehicle missed on a left-hand curve. The driver then fled in an unknown direction.
MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP
State police are investigating a shooting early Monday in Montgomery Township. Someone fired at least one shot at the home occupied by a 52-year-old man and 38-year-old woman from Gypsy. The home is on Gorman Road. It happened at about 3:20 AM.
