Today is the start of a trial of a man charged with pointing a gun at two Children and Youth Services workers in an incident last October in the Creekside area.
The trial of 41-year-old Erik Castellano of Creekside will get underway today after a jury was selected on Monday. State Police charged Castellano with felony aggravated assault, and misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person, harassment and terroristic threats after they investigated the incident where two officials with CYS performed a safety check. After the two officials identified themselves, Castellano allegedly pointed a handgun at them.
