Margaret “Peg” (Hines) Clark, 96, of Diamondville, PA died Friday, March 17, 2017 at her residence in Diamondville, which was the same home she was born in.
The daughter of Albert Hines and Margaret (Holmes) Hines, she was born on July 11, 1920 in Diamondville, PA.
Peg married Wilbert “Wib” Clark on June 19, 1942. They shared sixty-six years of marriage until his death on December 18, 2008.
Peg was a lifelong member of the Diamondville United Methodist Church and a life member of the Indiana Historical Society.
She is survived by two daughters: Peggy Hill and husband Dean of Diamondville, PA and Anita Stem and husband Mark of Northern Cambria, PA.
Also surviving five grandchildren are: John Hill and wife Kelli of Tennessee; Jason Hill of Diamondville, PA; Janell Mason and husband David of Diamondville, PA; Joseph Stem of Northern Cambria, PA and Richard Stem of Northern Cambria, PA; six great-grandchildren: Austin, Max and Aubree Hill and Trenton, Ashley and Travis Mason and one step-grandson: Thomas R. Shea.
Peg was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilbert, her grandson Dean Hill, Jr., and her two brothers and three sisters. Peg was the last surviving member of her family.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Rev. August B. Twigg will officiate.
Following the funeral service, there will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
