NEW FLORENCE
State Police are looking for more information regarding a theft in the New Florence area. Police say that an unknown thief or thieves were able to get into the home on Waylin Way in New Florence, and the thieves took a box of prescription Xanax and Roxycotine pills, along with a size seven 14 karat gold ring. WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP
No one was hurt in a crash on March 10th in West Wheatfield Township. State police say 68-year-old Alden Mills of Belle Vernon was driving east on Route 22 near Clay Pike Road when his car went off the roadway and began to travel sideways. The car hit a stop sign, but that only straightened it out before it hit a utility pole head-on. Neither Mills or his passenger were hurt. Police say Mills was cited for speeding.
