With the traditional cutting of the two-by-four by Ed Rumbaugh, the Indiana-Amrstrong Builders Association Home Show kicked off it’s 38th year on Friday at the S and T Bank Arena. This year’s exhibition will feature over 130 different vendors ranging from home improvement and construction services to security systems, insurance and banks. Dick Clawson of the Indiana-Armstrong Builders Association said the Home Show is a great opportunity for people to talk with people in the trade and to get to know the people and the products before the projects get underway.
On hand for the ceremony were House Majority Leader Dave Reed, State Senator Don White, Gail McCauley of the White Township Supervisors, and Jim Struzzi of the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce.
The home show continues today from Noon to 9 and on and tomorrow from Noon to 5 at the S and T Bank Arena at the White Township Recreation Complex. Admission is $3 for adults, and anyone 16 and under are free with a parent. Your Hometown Radio Stations will have live reports from the Home Show throughout the day, so keep listening throughout the day for the latest from the S and T Bank Arena.
