JC Penney this morning released its list of the 138 stores it is closing across the United States, and the Indiana Mall store in NOT on it. The Penneys at the Indiana Mall will remain open.
A business publication earlier this month listed the local store as one of the ones “most at risk” of closing.
Pennsylvania Penneys on the chopping block include the stores in Clearfield, Bloomsburg, King of Prussia, Towanda, Lycoming, and Willow Grove, along with one location in Philadelphia.
