In college basketball tourney action Wednesday night, Penn State was a winner, but Pitt and Duquesne came up short.
Penn State defeated Nebraska, 76-67, in overtime in the Big Ten, while Virginia topped Pitt in the ACC, 75-63.
In the Atlantic 10 tourney, St. Louis edged the Dukes, 72-71.
