The Pittsburgh Pirates used home runs by Austin Meadows and Jose Osuna to beat the Atlanta Braves, 6-3, Tuesday afternoon in Grapefruit League action.
Meadows put Pittsburgh ahead 2-0 with a two-run homer in the first inning. Jose Usona hit a solo shot in the sixth inning as part of a three-run rally that put the Bucs in the lead, 5-3.
Steven Brault pitched three scoreless innings for the win.
The Pirates improved to 9-3.
