The Blairsville girls’ basketball team will take the fourth seed out of District 6 into states after losing to Bishop Guilfoyle Wednesday night, 60-42.
The bigger Guilfoyle Marauders clogged up the inside, limiting Rena Enterline to 12 points. Blairsville shot a lot from the arc and McKenzie Misleany led the team with 5 3s and 15 points. Catherine Martin hit four and scored 12.
The Bobcats are off until March 10 when they will play Camp Hill, the District 3 champions, in the first round of the PIAA Class AA playoffs.
