Romayne (Nolan) Mitsko, age 95, of Indiana, went to be with
her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the
Indiana Regional Medical Center.
She was born in 1921 in Martindale to Paul and Gertrude
Mobley Nolan.
Mrs. Mitsko was an active member of the Full Gospel Assembly
of God Church, Indiana, the Ladies Missionary Society of the
church, and the AARP.
Her church made bandages, clothes, and throws.
She loved cooking, baking, camping, and fishing with her late
husband Edward. Additionally, she was an avid Pirate and
Steeler fan, and she enjoyed bus trips to Lancaster and other
places with her friend Dolores Vislosky. She especially enjoyed
spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are four children – David Mitsko and wife Helen,
Indiana; Juanita Murray and husband Howard, Blairsville;
Paulette Ostrom and husband Melvin, North Huntingdon; Sharon
Trunzo and husband Thomas, Homer City; daughter-in-law
Brenda Mitsko, Saltsburg; 10 grandchildren; two step
grandchildren; two sisters – Juanita Crum, Indiana; Marie Corle,
Osterburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward
Mitsko, her sons Dennis and Sylvester Lee Mitsko, and her
brother Louis Nolan.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral
service will be held on Thursday at 11 A.M. at the Full Gospel
Assembly of God Church, 370 Twolick Dr., Indiana, PA 15701,
with Pastor Tim Beitzel and the Rev. Mark Vislosky officiating.
Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery.
