An Indiana Man is throwing his hat into the ring for one of Indiana County’s row offices.
James Smith of Indiana has announced he will run for Register of Wills, Recorder of Deeds and Clerk of Orphans Court. Smith says he feels that success in any government agency comes from efficiency and open communication, and if he is elected, will infuse both into the position. Smith currently serves Indiana Borough as a member of Borough Council, and is a member of the public safety committee and the chairman of the communications committee.
So far, Smith is the only candidate for the Register of Wills, Recorder of Deeds and Clerk of Orphans Court.
