Edna Mae (Schlemmer) Craft, 93, Graceton died February 6, 2017 at the Communities at Indian Haven. She was the daughter of the late William Wayne and Amelia (Anderson) Schlemmer and was born February 2, 1924 in Punxsutawney, PA.
Edna Mae was a longtime member of the Red Barn Sportsman Club Ladies Auxiliary. She was a 1941 graduate of Punxsutawney High School and the last surviving member of her family.
She is survived by her son, Carl Craft, Jr. and wife Linda, Virginia Beach Virginia; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Craft, Homer City; four grandchildren, Carrie George and husband, Jeffrey, of Homer City; Denise Craft, Carl Craft III, and William Craft, all of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was also survived by six great grandchildren (who were her pride and joy), Nicholas, Holly, Allison, Melanie George and Thomas and Beau Price and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her son, Thomas, four brothers, Leonard, Thomas, Carl and James Schlemmer, her sister, Agnes George.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 3-8PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Bond, Officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana
