The IUP basketball teams return to the KCAC tonight, playing host to Mercyhurst University in a PSAC West doubleheader. The women tip it off at 5:30 p.m.
Coach Tom McConnell’s team is in 3rd place at 12-3, while Mercyhurst is right behind them in 4th place at 11-3.
Game two at 7:30 p.m. has Coach Joe Lombardi’s team, now 5th in the nation, looking for its 20th win on the season. The guys have already qualified for the playoffs. Mercyhurst, the defending PSAC champs, are in 5th place in the division.
