The IUP women won their second game of the week defeating Gannon, 62-57, Saturday at the Hammermill Center in Erie in a game heard on WQMU FM 92.5, and the U92.5 SportsChannel.
Carolyn Appleby led IUP with 17 points. Lauren Wolosic and Megan Smith scored 12 and 10 points, respectively. IUP is in 3rd place in division at 14-5 and 12-3.
In the men’s game, it was first-place IUP vs second-place Gannon and IUP prevailed, 72-62.
Dante Lombardi led IUP with 21 points and seven assists. Devon Cottrell scored 13 points and blocked five shots. The team improved to 19-2 and 14-1.
