Marjorie E. Stadtmiller, 80, of Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her home.
She was born in 1936 in Indiana, the daughter of the late Edwin H. and Dorothy Marcy Long.
Marge attended Keith School, Indiana High School and Allegheny College. She then taught first grade in Indiana prior to starting her family. She was an avid reader and played adult league volleyball and golfed at Meadow Lane. Her people skills were demonstrated as the administrator for Dr. John D. Parsons, the Orthodontist for many school aged children who would frequently identify themselves to her years later in passing.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis H. “Sonny” Edwards Jr. on May 9, 1974, who was the father of her three boys. Additionally, her brother Edwin M. Long and an infant brother David preceded her in death.
She is survived by loving husband of 27 years, Larry Stadtmiller, Indiana: her sons Jeff and Chris Edwards of Indiana, John Edwards and his wife Julie of Johnstown; a step-daughter Stephanie Lefevers and her husband Darren of Sedalia, Mo. and her little canine buddy Robbie.
Her grandchildren include Brooke and Carley Edwards, Kate Edwards, Devin and Ryan Lefevers who all loved her very much.
She will be missed by all who knew her and her beautiful spirit, never judging and always accepting.
