In WPIAL girls basketball action, Indiana got a game-winner from Alysa Rayko with five seconds left in a 33-31 section win. Rayko led the scoring with 12 points.
The Indiana boys weren’t as fortunate, as the Knoch Knights shot a blistering 63% in the first half and 57% overall in a 75-58 non-section win.
Indiana trailed by just three points at halftime but scored only six 4th quarter points. Knoch had 12 3-pointers and just five turnovers.
Tommy Arbuckle had a career-high 22 points to lead the Indians scoring, with Jake Benhart adding 15. Indiana’s record dropped to 9-4.
