One person was taken to the hospital after a DUI crash early this morning in Green Township.
State Police say the crash happened at 1:47 this morning on Route 286. 21-year-old Benjamin Blystone of Commodore was driving West on Route 286 when he failed to negotiate a left curve. The car he was driving went off the north berm and hit an embankment. The car rolled over multiple times and came to rest on its tires on the embankment.
Blystone suffered suspected moderate injuries in the crash and was flown to UMPC Altoona for treatment. Police said he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, and speed was also a factor in the crash.
