PennDOT has announced plans for the replacement of the Dilltown Bridge on River Road in Buffington Township.
The detour will be in place from July 15th through October 30th. After the opening of River Road at the Pleasant Valley Bridge over Blacklick Creek replacement project, River Road will close between Cramer Pike and Bracken Road to replace the bridge over Mardis Run. A detour using Cramer Pike, Route 22 and Wherum Road and River Road will be in place.
Merlo, Inc. of Mineral Point is working on the $3.9 million project. The project is expected to wrap up in the summer of 2027.
