The IUP-Edinboro basketball doubleheader has been moved from Saturday to Monday afternoon. The games will be carried on U92.5 FM and streaming on the U92.5 Sports Channel, starting at 12:45 pm. For more, here is the release from IUP Sports Information.

Due to the winter storm warning forecasted for our area this weekend, the home IUP women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader with Edinboro has been postponed. The games will now be played on Monday, January 21.
The women’s game will tip-off at 1 p.m. with the men’s contest to follow at approximately 3 p.m. Both games will still be played at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
Season and individual game tickets previously sold for the games will still be honored Monday. The box office at the Kovalchick Complex will open at noon and will remain open until the start of halftime of the men’s game.
The First Commonwealth game promotion that is attached the men’s Edinboro game still applies for Monday’s reschedule game.
Both IUP basketball programs are ranked nationally with the women at No. 1 in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) top 25 while the men are No. 5 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) rankings.
The programs are coming off a Wednesday night sweep at East Stroudsburg, with the women winning 84-62 while the men outlasted the Warriors 98-97 in overtime. The IUP women improved to 14-0 with the victory and the men’s program is 15-1.
