State police have charged three people from the Indiana and Clymer areas with assault and possession of drug paraphernalia for an incident on January 8th. Troopers say that around 2:32 pm, 24-year-old Jacob Shedlock of Clymer, 21-year-old Tianna Deyarmin and 46-year-old Steven Loughman, both of Indiana, were involved in a mutual scuffle that resulted in Deyarmin suffering in some scrapes, cuts and an injured nose. Deyarmnin and Shedlock fled the scene but were apprehended by state police nearby. Loughman and Deyramind were in possession of drug paraphernalia when they were picked up. Charges will be filed through District Judge Guy Haberl.
A Blairsville teen is suspected of driving under the influence for an incident Friday afternoon. State police say the teen was stopped for summary traffic violations around 1:35 PM when police determined he was under the influence of drugs and was taken to IRMC for a blood test. Charges of DUI are pending the blood test results.
