Indiana Fire Association had to deal with a dryer fire at a home along Rex Avenue in Indiana Borough.
Indiana County 911 reported the fire initially at a property on Philadelphia Street at 5:29 PM on Sunday, but the property on fire was at the corner of Rex Avenue and Gompers Avenue, just behind the home that faced Philadelphia Street.
The basement was damaged by the fire, while the rest of the house took on smoke and fire-related damage. The tenants were able to get out. Indiana fire Association officials say that both the landlord and the tenant had insurance.
